Favorite book

I'm looking for your favorite book on SAR. I've been reading books on basic obedience and would like to start researching more advanced training. Search and rescue would be great! I'm not a professional. My GSD Ada is a companion pet. I will eventually use her for therapy assist visits at nursing homes, schools, etc., since I'm in the medical field. I think SAR would be good to showcase the breed and incorporate into the show I put on at the mentioned facilities, additionally it will help her be a happy working dog.

Ada is 13 weeks and right now I just have her playing with her nose to find a treat. The purpose to me right now is to develop her senses.

Any suggestions? Go ahead and destroy my three cup scent training video.

Thanks,
Travis

She is a cutie. Not sure I have a favorite book but your pup is cute. Keep her playing nose games.

This is not a how-to book about training, but if you'd like to learn more about SAR, this memoir by Susannah Charleson is an excellent read: http://www.amazon.com/Scent-Missing-Partnership-Search-Rescue/dp/0547422571
