Ah good news

They DID give the credit to the dog teams --

This is what I had heard but you never post anymore than is published in the paper as the IC, not the dog team is the press contact. It is not uncommon for dog teams to even find the victim and not be mentioned but that is not why we do it.

Like anything else - clues by ground searchers probably led to placement of the dog teams and clues from the dog teams helped them determine where to run the helicopter. A very nice article. I *can* say that the dog interest was from our team.

Im glad she is safe, and that they gave your dog team the credit. It really brings to light the effort put in by the dogs and handlers to go out and try to save lives.

Well, it has been a busy busy week

Last week we had back to back searches for a drowning victim in a fast moving river and a dementia walk-away.

Next week is a follow up on a speculative search for someone who disappeared from the scene of a wreck - after three times on that one, I am not going to take off work as we got back up from another team (both retired)

I sure hate not going but gotta pay the bills...........

And now for something completely different. Another call! At least this one is nearby.
And now back home. Victim located. Reverse 911
