Faster than a Speeding Puppy!

The blur you see is Raff, going in to grab the puppy sleeve.

We're at our trainer's place in that pic--Raff adores him. He'd abandon me for Dameon in a second.

We're working on puppy imprinting/engagement. We do obedience and protection each visit. Raff is so animated from the moment we get there, all he can think about is getting to play that wonderful game he loves so much.

He had a good session with our trainer last week and today. Last weekend, he had a rocky time at IPO. He got in touch with his inner adolescent.

He's much better now. When he gets drifty, I just go back to something he knows well and do more engagement games with him.

How old is Raff now? His enthusiasm is so clear, he loves it! I'm unable to do IPO with Enya, not her fault, me, but she loves going to class. She'll ask to go out like she needs to potty and run to the gate, look at me and look at the car over and over. I seriously doubt he'd take Dameon over you, but I bet Dameon is his very best friend!

Raff was born on Halloween, 2016. So, that makes him four months--I think. He does love his training! He insists on practicing at home, too. He'll sit and give me the focused eye to get a treat. That's his signal that he wants to do obedience.

Sounds like Enya has a similar attitude towards obedience! Is she very biddable?

Raff actually has two best friends. Our trainer, Dameon, and our club helper. It works out brilliantly. Dameon trains with our club, so he and our helper communicate. Thus, maximum consistency in Raff's training.

Things are just going so well with this puppy!

Just wondering how safe that floor is. I once rented a facility like that, and dogs slipped.

As long as there are no cats around! Cats are her nemesis. She's seven months old now.

Not slippery at all, if that is the question. I'm not sure I understand. Dameon works 5-6 police K9 candidates or working K9s every day in there
