Any pointers?

So Sarge gets evaluated on Sunday. His trainer says it will take at least 3 hours. He is being evaluated in obedience, advanced obedience, protection and tracking. He will be 2 in December so we want to start now so when he's 2 he will be on the right track. Any pointers on what to expect? I'm extremely nervous and excited at the same time. Lol

His evaluation will take 3 hours?? That's a long time for a dog to be working.

Is he being evaluated at a SchH club or a Private trainer?

Private trainer. He is very known around here for his training and comes highly recommended.

Well I imagine you won't really need any pointers. Every evaluation I have ever seen has more to do with what the dog naturally brings to the table and whether or not potential exists. So it's not really about what the dog does, so much as who the dog is.

I guess make sure he's not tired, maybe a little hungry so that he shows with the best energy and drive possible. Good luck!
