Lots and lots and lots of kisses -- tops of heads, noses, paws and tummies!!! And tell them they're from all of us!

This thread is getting as long as Bravo and Anna's!
Names? All in due time. You have other fish to fry right now. LOL.
Keep a list posted of things you need as they come up. I'm sure we'd all love to help you out.

PS. Rudy's surgery went well. Hopefully he comes home tomorrow. I am enjoying leaving my shoes, remote control etc around the house in his absence. Maybe my flowers will actually not be pulled out of their beds this Spring and stand a chance.

"any idea where I can get the lamp?"

What about Petsmart -- that's where we got the one for our geckos -- they have several different kinds - including one that clamps onto something - so you can put it up out of her way without her knocking it over.

You are doing a wonderful thing -- Momma and babies are beautiful!

another Alma fan here whose only been lurking - YAY, BABIES! Was hoping she's have a bit longer than a week to bond and get fed-up till she gave birth, but the puppies look great! Showed this thread to the DH (have been telling him about lovely Alma) and he said she has cute eyebrows, like Gaia - we're suckers for those expressive brows! Going to enjoy watching them develop here - bless you Cila for taking this pretty love and her babies in!

Re: Alma (aka Aza), pretty girl from Pittsboro, NC

Alma&babies and mom send hugs and kisses to all Alma family fans.I had to go in to work in the afternoon. Everybody was doing fine when I got home. I let mom out, she ran back three times on the way out as the babies started crying. I put her in the crate when we got back in the house and she was very upset about it. I checked out the babies, hugged and kissed everybody and told them about the fan mail they are getting.
The babies look good, tummies are full and tight. There are two smaller ones and I'll keep an eye on them. Their tummy was full, so they seem to be OK. When baby-playtime was finished, it took one of the babies down to Mama in the crate. She charged out of the crate and ran towards the baby room. Then she heard the baby in my hand, ran back to me, took the baby and told me (off) that that baby does not belong down here. She ran back with the baby to the rest of them. She was very cute, I'll take a picture next time. I hope she'll get used to me handling her babies with this exercise. Then she was served dinner in bed. Dinner was good. Everyone is tucked in for the evening and quiet.
Alma&babies wish good night to everybody.

By the way, does anyone know how many serving spots the baby snack bar has? I know I should have counted them before mom decided that she does not want me near her babies.

I counted 10 sets on Gretchen, but the last 2 were very tiny. They probably wouldn't have much milk in them!

I tried to google this (even asked Jeeves) but all I got were some pretty raunchy websites. I'm going to have some explaining to do to my boss. I did find out that mammals normally have an even number of nipples, though.

Great ploy to let Alma know you will be handling the puppies. You're a natural, Cila! I can't wait to see them.
