Hehe, one would not think it was the same dog. You are an angel for saving him!

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

Val, thanks. However, doesn't it seem more like they save us as well?

Walking into the shelter has changed my life. It is so easy to sit in our homes and stay in our blissful ignorance than actually visit one of these places and then do something.

You might have to add another - after grooming.
Chance might look like a new dog after his "spa day."

In the first picture he is probably sad without much hope. In the second he is like, "Look at me, I got a family!! And I love them already!!"

He is obviously a wonderful dog with a lot of love to give!! I'm so glad that you brought him home and are giving him a second chance to be the great dog he was always meant to be!
