Our boy is 22 weeks today and I know we’ve still got a longgg way to go until he’s no longner a puppy but his energy level has calmed down it seems. It used to be where if he didn’t have a toy or chew treat is his mouth we would quickly find one for him so he didn’t get into any trouble. Now he seems happy to just lay around all day. Don’t get me wrong, he still has his puppy spurts where he throws his toys around or we catch him chewing on the rug, and he loves to play outside and go for walks, but is this something I should be concerned about? He eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom just fine and is a very happy boy, so I don’t know if it’s possible that his puppy energy is on the decline. We did bring home our newborn baby three weeks ago, is it possible that at his young age he senses the change in dynamic of our home?

Puppies go thru mellowing stages, but don't worry they do not last long.
