Puppy Weight

Hi guys! Just curious if anyone else has a big boy like we do. We rescued Ranger, so while we know nothing about his parents, we feel he is most likely pure breed. Here is his weight so far:

6 weeks 13.8
7 weeks 15.5
8 weeks 19lbs
9 weeks 21.8lbs
9 weeks 4 days 24.4 lbs
10 weeks 2 days 25.8
10 weeks 5 days 27

If you also have a big pup, what are you doing to make sure he’s healthy and growing well/slowly.

My breeder didn't give me much info on the background despite asking many questions. I have a feeling I'm going to have a big boy like yours. At 7.5 weeks he weights 15.6 pounds!

What sizes were sire and dam? Do you know? That would tell you a lot He is pretty big for his age, but they can have spurts.

No idea! He is a rescue. We’re hoping he levels out and is less than everyone is saying, but as long as he is healthy and lean, I’m a happy mama!

I'm sorry, when I first looked at your post the picture wasn't visible and I didn't notice the rescue part. Thanks for rescuing him! I'd bet 90 to 100 lbs at maturity His legs are huge! Nice bone on him. He is so handsome!
