How much to feed a 7 month old GSD Female?

I think I've been feeding my GSD female (7 months) double the required portion for the past week.

I've been giving her 2 meals, each meal consisting of 500 grams of minced moose meat along with 1-2 bones.

Upon doing calculations, it says that I should be feeding 2% of the ideal adult body weight.

In other words, 22/32 kilos x 2% = .44 kilo grams to .64 kilo grams TOTAL.

I've been giving her 1 kilo in minced meat alone, not to mention bones.

So it sounds like I should be cutting back by at least HALF what I've been giving her.

Would that sound right to you?

Looks like puppies may be higher than 2% from Feeding, Transition and Safety for Raw Dog Food Diets

Tips Feeding Percentages

1.5% Weight Loss
2.0% Non-Active
2.5% Maintain Weight **
3.0% Slight Weight Gain
3.5% Significant Weight Gain
4.0% Kittens/Puppies (8 weeks-1 year)
4.5-8.0% Kittens/Puppies (4-8 weeks)
4.0-8.0% Pregnant/Lactating

I can't deal in kilograms (sorry! I confuse easily...) - but I do between 2-3% of EXPECTED adult weight (based on parents weight) depending on activity level and how many training treats they are given. I then adjust if pup is getting too skinny or gaining too much.

I feed my younger female 20 oz of food (and she has been getting this for awhile) - plus training treats, etc. She is 57/58 lbs. So, that is about 2%, but she gets a bit of training treats each day from tracking and doing OB work.

Overfeeding can lead to runny poop.

Thank you.

I'll try 2% of ideal adult body weight then adjust based on how she looks after a week or two.
