I missed at first reading that you are thinking about euthanizing both adult dogs? What did the other one do to deserve a death sentence? Please donít.

I'm somewhat new to this forum. I joined because I have a German shepherd mix, and as we all know, German shepherds are not like other dogs, and I thought that consulting with experts would be helpful. But the mean-spirited, judgmental tone of many of the comments is very off-putting. I would have hoped for a more supportive environment - after all, none of us is the perfect dog owner, and none of our dogs are perfect. (Mine isn't, anyway!) Isn't that why we ask for help and advice? Regretfully, I'm probably going to quit this forum. The world has enough nastiness these days - dogs are supposed to be a source of joy and love. (At least when they're not eating the couch...)
And a quick note to the original poster: Good luck with whatever decision you make. It won't be easy either way. And I hope the unfriendly comments on this site don't get you down too much.
