For the safety and well being of your young female you had best find the money for the x-ray. Make an appointment and have her x-rayed after 56 days into her pregnancy. Not x-raying won't matter much if she is open, but will matter a whole lot if she only has one puppy, doesn't go into labor normally and dies.
