With this frigid cold and his poor paws decided to get Ozzy some boots. He is not bothered by them and just happy to be outside playing and not just doing his business.
What brand? They look like Ruff ware (the most expensive on market I believe) but there are similar.
I bought muttluks last year for lil. 50 bucks before tax. Struggled to get them on...took approx. 15 mins. Less then one min to come off once outside
By the time I sought out others the stores weren't carrying so I used Dollar store booties at a cost of 3 bucks, but only lasted a day or 2 as salt ate through the fake neoprene. I would flip them over to extend the life. Super light weight, easy on, easy off and she seemingly enjoyed wearing.
I even had the muttluks modified at an additional expense of 30$...10 mins to get on, less then one to come off in the snow.
So this year, not even looking, I came across Pawsh pads...they seemed to be a cross between muttlucks (suede sole and toe) and the dollar store ones. Real neoprene tho and yolk (I think called) that opens wide to slip the paw in easily w/o worrying about front dew claws. Double Velcro.
They seem to be doing the trick. She motors in them on walks, jumps snow banks and tears up the yard. Haven't lost one yet. But today they were slipping a bit.
60$ for those
Brings back memories of Wyoming adventures.... Got the boots on the dog, went inside for under 1 minute, come out and dog is joyously running in the snow flipping the last boot from her feet - with a look of pure joy. Like "Put these on again, quick please. That was soooo much fun!"
