Why do I bother with toys. ((video))

OK, I don't care much for coffee, so every morning I have a Big Slam bottle of Diet Mountain Dew (yes, that's my crack).
This morning, when I finished my bottle, I smashed it down and threw it for Cass. We played "bring it" for a few minutes, no big deal.
My wife (who you hear in the video) went to the recyle bin and got another bottle and I was playing bring it with both dogs for a while.
The video below is what always happens when they each have something.
They will spend as much time as we'll allow, running around the "circle".
They both started out with a bottle, but Cass drops hers and has to have the other one. We could start them on doing this game and then leave the house. When we came home, they'd still be doing it, I swear!

Enjoy.

LMAO... I did that with Kola... she got a hold of a 20oz empty bottle...her new favorite toy...

Then I put hard treats in it.. so it rattles .. and it drives her crazy.. she bats it all around the house.. picks it up and shakes on it... she loves that crazy thing..
I love your video.. so funny

I'm not paying for any more frisbees or kongs or anything. I'm making a flirt pole with an empty bottle, twine and an old broom handle. We're going on a budget.
They are just like kids, lets play with the box and the wrapper, forget the toy.

Hilarious! It was even kind of suspenseful, not knowing which way they would be coming from next...

This is great! Salem this morning was playing with a log...rolling it around in the yard (She was suppose to be going potty). LOL! I agree... they are like children...rather play with everyone items then actual toys.

Sometimes, when they're doing that, my wife will tell them to "switch" or to "go the other way".
About 3/4 of the time, they do.
