Retired military working dogs

A friend just adopted one who is a retired bomb sniffing dog. Many of them are GSDs. If they pass temperment tests, they can be adopted out instead of put to sleep! Here is a link for more information: http://www.militaryworkingdogadoptions.com/

I shouldn't own dogs that are smarter than I am!

Your friend is very lucky, as is the dog he adopted. Congratulations and best wishes to both of them.

Yes...they are both very lucky. My friend is a retired Army explosives expert...so they are a perfect pair!
