Owner picked up the puppy. She wasn't real excited to see him but not bad she is like I said pretty disengaged with people. He lives near me I tried to keep the puppy he said he would but his son would be super sad. He keeps her tied outside. He had been gone camping. Trying hard not to judge. I may find that the pup ends up back here.

He already lost her again and is driving around looking for her. I guess she chases cars while here she didn't even try to chase cars.

What a bummer. I found a hunting breed splashing around in a river dragging a muddy leash. Had a chip tag and I called the 800 number and they contacted owners.

I waited there where I found him for an hour or so, we were taking a break from a motorcycle ride so I couldn't take him anywhere. A lady finally showed up, blazing mad that her no good drunk husband had passed out and let the dog loose. She took him from me in a huff without even acknowledging the poor dog, dragged him to her car and tossed him in, carrying on the whole time about how she now had to go find the no good drunk.

Not exactly the reunion I was hoping for, either.
