Lost/Stolen 2yo sable, male GSD

Our Male GSD has been missing since Dec 5, 2015. He was last seen at 610 Lockett Rd, Rice, VA. Our phone numbers: Home 434/888-392-6979, Cell 434-390-7544. He is microchipped. We have contacted all the hunters, UPS/FedEx folks, Park Rangers, and all possible Animal Wardens. We have been monitoring Craig's list and E-Bay for the Eastern Seaboard. No signs at all.
MIKE is good looking and very friendly. His coat is wiry, lighter at the skin (sable) long thin body. Orange collar with ID tag, Prince Edward County, VA Dog license, Chip tag (Microchipped). Thanks to all who help!

Handsome boy. I hope he's home soon. Keep an eye on Craig's list. Pepper the vets and pet stores with notices. In Arkansas a neighbor got her dogs back after they were gone for several months. Someone had stolen them out of her car. A person saw kids chasing a dog and remembered seeing her notices. There is hope.

I shared this page on Google Plus in two German Shepherd communities. I can share on the Southern Maryland Lost facebook page. If he was stolen he may not be in VA anymore. We will keep our eyes opened.

You should also talk to the local trash collection guys, the county road crew department and the letter carriers.

When we had a foster dog go missing we put up 350 posters and also did quite a few posters in Spanish. Be sure to hang the posters inside of upside down plastic page protectors to help them survive the weather.

If you send me a PM I can give you my email and we can try to help by posting him on our Facebook page.

We chased this foster for six weeks before we finally caught him in a Hav-a-Heart trap.

Have you had any sightings?

Yours in GSDs and rescue,

Lea

Thanks to you all! Mike hasn't been found. He is one of more than 4 GSDs missing in this area of Virginia. We still have hope that someone runs a chip reader over him. Thanks again!
