Wow, amazing... There are so many possibilities of how that dog ended up there.. What if he was stolen and dumped, his owner is in Mississauga. Does his first owner have any recourse..

Hopefully there is recourse of the owner shows up.
It's so incredibly rare here in Oshawa, brooklin to see Mals, we have one guy locally who breeds dutch shepherds and I've seen a few of them (all from same guy, all being trained at same place) but not Mals, just a uncommon breed here.

I asked numerous times if he was brought into the vet to be scanned for a chip but never got an answer

That's not good. My trainer had notified a Mal rescue who were going to ask for him. My trainer called the listed number as well but never got an answer back. Hope the pup doesn't get dumped in Animal Control a few weeks down the road when the new owners can't keep up to him.
