Barking in the garden

Hello everyone, My GSD mix barking when he sees neighbour our garden is very close to neigbours and other issue is he is growling to strangers as well when he is walking, Weird thing is i moved to another country so im guessing he is doing this because of the new environment? How to stop this beahvior? thank you somuch in advance

Have a long leash on the dog and be in the yard with him. Reel the dog in after one or two barks and encourage him to stop barking. Reward being quiet. I tell my dog, "all done".



The dog thinks it is his job to alert you that someone is nearby. If the dog is in the yard alone, barking at neighbors and people passing by is something interesting to do. It is your job to teach him the proper response to people being on the other side of the fence
