bark stauba bark!!!!

we've been working on tracking and its going GREAT!!!!!!!!! However, when she finds someone/something, she just kinda wags her tail and stares. I watched a video on SAR testing, and they require the dog to bark when someone live is found...however, I've never been able to get Stauba to bark before??

so

a. how do i get her to bark at all?

b. how do i get her to bark when she finds something?

c. how do you get them to hold an object in between their paws? (little off topic lol)

when she's excited rather than barking she leaps around at warp speed and must jump 3-4 ft in the air lol. With aschen, I just barked at him, he copied me, then gave it a command and he does it whenever I ask him too...she's just a bit more challenging...sigh.

To teach my boy to "speak" I just started running circles around the couch and acting like a maniac. All the excitement started to build in him and he started jumping and barking. As soon as he'd bark I'd click and give him a treat.

Once I figured out how to get him to bark Eventually I started with the command "speak" while getting him to bark, and he picked up on it pretty quick.

As far as your "b" and "c", I have no experience there, me and Brutus havent progressed that far.

Do you use a clicker?
