Warning shot

I have a co-worker that tells me about his friend who is able to make his GSD growl and show his teeth, while they are just hanging out. He does it as a prank to scare him. And it works!
I would like to train Nico for both, the prank and also a "warning shot" if ever needed. Anybody know how to train for this?

Thanks

How old is your dog? Unless they are older and have tons of 'trick' training, this would possibly be confusing for a younger dog.

Truthfully, merely the fact you have a GSD is enough to put the vast majority of people on alert.

And the most people seem the most wary (scared?) of my dogs when my dogs are VERY quiet and VERY calm. Think it looks like they are alert but may INSTANTLY go for their throats with no warning!!!!

So I'd work instead on really socializing my dog so it was calm and comfortable in any situation. And all the regular obedience work, cause when our GSD listens and 'sit's and 'stay's then, once again, people THINK the next command to be followed may be 'go rip his throat out' !!!
