Herding in MO

I have plans to make it over to the St. Louis Herding Club someday soon. But, is there anyone closer to me? I live by Fort Leonard Wood (between Rolla and Lebanon off of I-44). Springfield is an hour and a half (roughly) drive for me. St. Louis is 2. I'd like to find a good instructor somewhere closer so that we can schedule regular lessons.

Thanks!

Re: Herding in MO

I will be interested in a response to this too!

Although I live closer to the KCI airport area...I have always been interested in herding for Shadow..

Re: Herding in MO

What about:
Missouri Stockdog Assoc.
Peggy Clift
HCR 83, Box 68
Niangua, MO 65713
(417) 462-3992

from: http://www.herdingontheweb.com/clubs.htm

I would also suggest calling some of the places that may be a bit too far to drive as they may know people who are training closer to you but may not have an official club or website.

Leyna and Levi, RIP
