Update on Zoya

She is getting scoped and the vet is gonna check out her upper GI track as well as her giving her a colonoscopy. This will be in August, it is pretty expensive. I don't care if I have to work a lot of house to get her feeling better It is what I want to do for her to make her feel better. I love her.

I hope she feels better before August, for her sake and for yours! Sending healing thoughts your way!

Zoya is so lucky to have you!

I'm sorry, I don't know much about this, but I'd keep some kind of journal or some kind of record of what she ate, and how she felt/pooped afterward. That way you may notice some pattern and also you will hopefully have a record of the kinds of food that she can tolerate well. Your vet might also be interested to know...

I arrived here from a comment you've left for my pup's photos. What's funny is that my favourite photos are those that are poor in quality but capture her various expressions and gleeful smile. I appreciate your compliment and wanted to write to wish Zoya well!

From this photo it seems to me that Zoya is well taken care of and full of joy. Zoya looks to have a very sweet personality and is lucky to have you in her life!
I hope that Zoya will begin to feel well soon and prior to her procedure.

I agree that a journal of her stool and food intake would be very beneficial in determining an idea for the cause of her GI issues.
One complication following her surgery which is worth consideration is that she may have developed a fistula. This may lead to an imbalance of pH and an increase in bacterial fermentation.
Have you noticed that she has had urinary tract infections (UTI)?

Log the food that she is eating and how regular her stools are along with the consistency of them. Also note her water intake and make certain to highlight any changes in any habits.
If you have been keeping track of her weight, this information may also be of some value from now until August.
This will not only help to give the vet. an idea of how she has been progressing up to the procedure but give you an idea of what food(s) she is sensitive to or relieves her of any distress.

Get well soon Zoya!
