Limping on front right leg and right back leg...

Taking my 4 yr old girl to the vet later this afternoon to check out why she is limping. I have all kinds of scenarios running through my mind right now. Hoping it is an easy fix that doesn't involve lots of medication or surgery!

She started limping on and off on her left front foot a while ago and began licking it, causing a hot spot. I finally found a bump in the hollow by her pads. Used Veterycyn for a few days....redness gone and bump gone now too. But she started limping on her right front leg, also on and off. Seems to improve with rest. A few days ago she started limping on her right back leg.... I don't see anything, or feel anything. She still wants to run around but is obviously sore afterwards. I have tried resting her a few days and it improves but as soon as she gets active (and she is a very low drive/active personality), she starts limping again. I am so worried about my girl....

Any tests I should make sure she gets when I take her to the vet?

Kathy

Definitely for tick borne diseases. She was checked back in June but maybe she didn't have it then but does now....

She had anaplasmosis last year....

lumbar issue....maybe

So no lyme. Suspects some kind of lumbar issue. Maybe arthritis or maybe a strain/sprain. Can't really tell. Vet wants to take xrays in a week, but wants to bring the inflammation down first. So he wants to put her on a week of deramax.
I am not so happy with that plan. I have read a lot of negative things about deramax. And she will need to be sedated for xrays....
I want to do what is best for my girl. Any suggestions????

Kathy

A week of deramax should be OK. It's not a long term thing the vet's recommending.
