UTI (non GSD)

Rita, english bulldog, had surgery in Oct for stones. Vet put her on Science diet dry c/d I believe, we just got back from the vet and she has stones again. He prescribed can s/d and antibiotics for the next three weeks, no dry.

I really don't like her being on the science diet food, seems like her ears have been bothering her a lot more then usual. If it worked then that would be different. Whats the point of feeding her this food if the stones are going to return.

Anyone have any similar issues, and if so did you find something that worked?

Re: UTI (non GSD)

I ended up taking her in this morning. I had a feeling the UTI was back. Sure enough the x-ray showed crystals.

It would be nice to have a dog that didn't have issues. Is there such a thing!

Re: UTI (non GSD)

Maybe this is in the wrong section. Should it be moved to the food area?
