Mobile App changes coming

We're making some changes to our mobile applications at the end of this month that we would like to share with you.

First, the two apps (PetGuide.com Free and Petguide.com) are being discontinued by the software developer that created them for us. As such, those apps will not work past the end of May, 2015.

Second, we are introducing a new way to access the forum through mobile applications. You can download our new, free, PetGuide.com Application. The new PetGuide app is based on our Topify in-web version, and is developed with photos and videos in mind, and allows you to save your favorite forums, receive notifications, change your theme, and access all of your favorite PetGuide communities. We work very closely with the developers of this application, so we can build and add custom features as requested by the community; a luxury we did not have with the former applications. Please send us your ideas!

Lastly, we will be allowing Tapatalk users to now access the sites via their app. However, because it is not affiliated with our company, we do not provide technical assistance.

We hope that you will take some time to experience our new application - and together, make it the best application out there for accessing your favorite Pet forums!

I'm pretty sure Kindle uses android apps, so if you can download it via Google Playstore, you should be able to use it.

"As great of a tablet as the Kindle Fire is (especially in the newest HDX incarnation), there’s what most consider a pretty unbearable flaw: you can’t access the Google Play store to get at apps outside the Apps for Android Amazon store." from howtogeek.com

There is supposedly a way to root but sounds very complicated and technical and it voids the warranty.

Well, while you're at it. See if you can figure out why I can't click any buttons on the mobile version of this site when I am using the safari browser on my iphone. Or scroll down. Or tell me how I can change it from the mobile to the desktop version on my iphone. Thanks.

When the stars threw down their spears,
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?

Did he who made the Lamb, make thee?

Sorrry to hear that. What model IPhone are you using and what IoS? Try clearing your browser cookies and cache and then visit the site.

I hope you will remove the steps we have to go through right now to get out of the "Enhanced mobile view."
For those who like to view the forum in desktop format, it is incredibly annoying to go through these extra steps every time we want to check into the forum on our phones.
