Puppy Exercise! How much is to much?

I have a 5 month old pup names Sophie. I’m wanting to know how much is to much exercise and is it bad for her to chase a ball at full speed? I’m pretty sure I play fetch with her in 20-30 minute incriminates for probably an hour to hour and a half a day although I don’t keep track it may be a little longer. Is this too much will I harm her joints/hips?

Yes and yes. I think you need a trainer and a mentor to raise your dog well

I don’t know anybody personally who’s raised shepherds besides my grandfather and a few other people who didn’t know anything about hip dysphasia or any of that. Whats to much exercise and what is to extreme of exercise. Thanks for the help.

Until she is older any forced exercise is to much. Avoid impact and games like fetch that force her to stop and start quickly.

It's best if you can find an area where she can go at her own pace off leash and walk/trot/run and explore the world.Playing a low key game of fetch for a few minutes is ok.
