Strong ex-pen?

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a good strong pen that I could buy for my German Shepherd, 100 Pounds. My dog just had surgery and we are bringing him on vacation in May to a beach house we are renting. Besides confining him to the top floor of this house, we want to confine him to a pen, so he is not running around the top floor. He will just be 6 weeks Post op by then, and I still want to keep him calm. The problem is my dog is an escape artist. He can break his way out of anything. He doesn't however jump things that much. I want to get a pen with no cover, and one that we can easily transport in our car, and also be somewhat strong and big. Thanks for you advice!

Re: Strong ex-pen?

Sarge has this one and loves it. We bought a mattress for it and put a blanket on top of that. We keep the door open and he loves to just kick back in there at night.Hes about 90 lbs and has lots of room and comfort.

Re: Strong ex-pen?

My boxer is not an escape artist or a jumper but did jump out of the exercise pen after her first TPLO surgery.

For her second TPLO recovery we dismanteled the guest room bed and used a extra tall gate to contain her in the room. This worked great.
