Is this considered a Long Haired or "plush" Short hair?

I’m gonna say he’s a stock coat, but I can certainly understand why you’d ask! Anyone else think he looks trimmed? ....where’s the photo from, what’s the pedigree?

My LC for comparison...
I typically can spot a long coat straight away, and although I’m still leaning towards stock coat for the dog in the OP, looking at his feet (is that hair between his toes?) and legs in the 2nd pic - it does make me wonder. Alas, he doesn’t have the ears. No amount of trimming could get Tildens ears to look like that.

I am going to say a stock coat plush but it would not surprise me if he carried a recessive long coat gene.

Gotta go with stock solely based on the ears, but if you had a shot with the ears not in the picture I would guess LC. Just really shows you how the coats can vary.

Regular coat it is a west German showline dog how the Germans interpret the breed.
