What lines do these gsds look?

Hi guys! I’m new to this all. My friends dogs had an accidental litter, after being told the female was fixed before purchasing, which she wasn’t. I was wondering what lines they look like? Is the mother even purebred?
The father is the b&t and mom is black.

The bitch looks very small (and short) compared to the male. Maybe it’s the angle of the photo, or the sire is just extra large. No way to tell if they are pure bred or not without knowing their lineage.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say the male looks full, and the female is iffy just because of the perceived size difference. Do you have anymore pics of the bitch?

Both dogs appear PB and of no obvious type or lines.
A random mash up of backyard bred pet lines if you will...

It looks like Black and Tan May be an American not sure about the black. Both look purebred though.

Dad has a pretty thick face for an American, maybe a weird German American showline mash up. Moms leaning towards working lines but I would not know, your best guess would be to try n track down origin

they both look purebred to me. Most likely a mash of lines. But since they don't have papers, being purebred is a irrelevant.

Definitely some American lines in the male, with those tall ears, but the lack of angulation in the hind end means he's likely a mish-mash of lines.

Most black dogs are working lines, and working lines are generally smaller than show lines (helps them be more agile) so my guess is female is mainly working line.

The owner obviously didn't know much about dogs to let the female get pregnant. It should have been pretty obvious with the first few drops of blood that she wasn't spayed, and at that point in her cycle, it would have been very easy to prevent pregnancy by keeping her separated from the male. I'm guessing their thinking was "Oh, she's NOT spayed! So, let her have babies - they will be purebred, and I can likely make a few bucks off them!"

Typical BYB thinking...

Actually most black dogs aren’t working line. There are many American showline dogs. Literally all my breeder friends have them. My own Scarlet’s sire is black.

Yeah, there are a lot of black dogs out there in both American lines and in working lines right now. Both my ASL and my WGWL have solid black siblings, and carry black. There may not have been as many in decades past, but right now there are a lot of them.
