What are the limits for temperature and humidity at night?

Hello from Dubai,

Getting hot here by the day and more humid.

We went out today at 9.30 at night. It was 97 F and 51% humidity.

It was Rex and his friend Nala. Off leash; they did not run much both tempered by the heat. We spent maybe 45 minutes. Just walking around and sniffing about with the occasional play.

Water was provided throughout non-stop.

Excuse the ignorant question, but at what point in terms of temp and humidity we would be in danger of a heat stroke?

If we let the dogs just pace as they please and we do not push them, can they be at at such temperatures? I do not want to keep him indoors all summer.

Soon we will be at 105 F and we could reach 80% humidity? At what point should I remain totally indoor?

Thank you!

watch your dogs and they will tell you. I find that high humidity hits them faster than heat. If it takes a long time for your dogs to stop panting heavily, then you know they are hitting their limits.
