Just got dog spayed

So I just got my dog spayed. She is about 15 months old. She’s not even 24 hours out of surgery. She is 77 pounds and looked healthy going into surgery (not to fat. Not to skinny) .. is it normal for her to look super thin after surgery??

Surprised a dog could lose a lot of weight in 24 hours. My girl didn't look any different other than a shaved belly.

She may be dehydrated. Offer her lots of fresh water and watch and see that she drinks. Anesthesia can be very hard

on dogs. Also I would offer 2 or 3 small meals per day until she looks better.

It could just be the lack of hair on her tummy since she was shaved. GA can be hard for dogs, I'd just watch her to see if she improves. Is she eating/drinking?

I'm sure it's the lack of hair also. She is fine.. Don't let her feel you worried... just love her.....

Now She is drinking .. not eating still. She doesn’t want the food. She threw up when we got home so I didn’t wanna force her to eat or drink just let her relax and gave her some love. I leave the water and food out so she does have it whenever she’s ready to eat.
