GSD Colouring

Hi All,

One of these days I'll find someone to help me take a stacked photo of Sitka, hopefully with a better camera! Until then, could some of you experts tell me what his coloring is officially called? Bi Color? Blanket? Black and Red?

If I were ever to show him, what physical features are critiqued? Would the white mark on his nose make a difference?

Thanks!

I'm certainly not an expert, but I would call him a blanket pattern black and tan (red and tan are not distinct colors, it is a matter of how pigmented the tan is).

In the show ring, everything about the dog is critiqued...literally everything.
