Diarrhea and exercise

I've searched for advice for this topic and have come up empty so far, so I'm hoping someone can advise? My GSD has had diarrhea the last couple days, so I'm just feeding her chicken and white rice for the next few days. She's almost 3 years old and had bouts of diarrhea in the past, which is par for the course for GSDs. It never really occurred to me until this time around, but is it generally a good idea to limit strenuous exercise until her poo's back to normal? Maybe it's a little anthropomorphic, but when I have an upset stomach, the last thing I want to do is exercise. I figure if she isn't up for walks, chasing balls, etc. she just won't do it, so I've just carried on as usual. Any thoughts?

I agree with you that if she doesn't feel up to playing or exercise, she just won't do it.
