How long should I wait?

I'm thinking of getting another GS, as we all know one is not enough. I have a 20 month old right now. We have an awesome relationship, each others best friend. My question is how long should I wait to get a second one without disturbing this relationship?

My oldest was 3 when we got our second, it did change our relationship. I think anytime there is a major change in the household all dynamics change some. I'm not saying it's worse, just different.

it's the very reason I am hesitant to get another dog. The relationship I have with Deja is perfect and easy. Am I going to create chaos by bringing in another dog? Maybe, maybe not. It varies day by day. It would easier if I found one on my doorstep one day. Deja is 3.5 years old. Looking back, at 2 years of age, she was very different then. She is now well mature. Maybe wait another year OP?
