You need the evet NOW. If plastic becomes wedged, there are to many issues - some deadly - that can happen. It may not be needed but be prepared for surgery.

Chewed or ate? How much, and was it sharp? My dogs have eaten a lot of strange things but have never thrown up - I would be concerned about something being lodged somewhere. Definitely see the vet ASAP.

Yeah, I'd be at the e-vet getting xrays tonight. The risk of a perforation would scare me. I'm with Twyla--don't wait.

Vet gave her exam said stomach felt ok and that she did not seem sore. She took X-rays of left side. Serena wouldn't let her do the right side. X-ray showed no blockage but she could see small "something's" the vet gave her anti nausea shot and gave me same in pill form. Bland diet chicken, fish, and rice. Very small amount. If that doesn't work we have
Start the same procedure over again. X-rays etc... She is hoping all will pass through her.She acts normal, was excited to take her normal walk. Did a bowel movement. I pray she holds the little bit of food she gets early evening.
