information for new GSD puppy

Hello,

I have just put down my deposit for my working line GSD puppy that i will be picking up in January!

so i was wondering if anyone with IPO or working trials experience (or both)!
would be so kind to give me some information!,

I have been scouting around on-line and in dog stores for training equipment/general dog stuff but keep getting mixed reviews from people regarding every aspect!.

So the question is could someone give me a comprehensive list or recommend a certain store or website for buying?

as i want to get the best for my four legged friend!

not just the training equipment but general stuff like maybe your opinion on food/training treats and general advice would be amazing!, i will be going back to my breeder for training for working trials, but for this i would like to get some information from a variety of people

any information would be brilliant!

thanks

it all depends. I bought prong collars at GUN DOG SUPPLY reviews Hunting Dog Training Collars & Supplies for Retrievers & Bird Dogs I bought my wire crate that we use in the bedroom from Pet Supplies | Dog & Cat Supplies, Pet Meds | DrsFosterSmith.com Pet Products
I've bought various things from Dog and Cat Food, Treats, and Supplies | Free Shipping at Chewy.com and have Red Barn rolls (great for training treats) auto delivered.

Leerburg sells good items but can be a bit pricey.
Ray Allen specializes in IPO supplies like bite sleeves and such.
for interesting toys check here https://www.westpawdesign.com/
for car seat covers I like to check here first Kurgo Active Dog Travel and Outdoor Products
And for screens that fit your car windows here is the place to go Mutt Managers

and to research dog food, we always mention Dog Food Reviews and Ratings | Dog Food Advisor

Have fun and try not to drive yourself crazy researching everything. There is so much to chose from, it can be overwhelming.

These forums are not location specific. I'm not sure if these sites ship to the UK or not. I hope a few folks from your side of the pond can send you to some more local shops.

If your breeder is doing the training ask them. My trainer had a different place to buy different things. Going with his recommendation I got good stuff but I went several places.
