Poor Jax 😔

So we have to board our dogs when we go on vacation. The place we normally board at went out of business. So we decided to try Camp Bow Wow. They have live feed so you can watch your dogs. We had to take them for a valuation their first visit. They keep them for 3 hours to make sure they are friendly etc.... So one hour after we dropped them off, we get a call that Jax has been bitten by another dog and may need stitches. The owner kept apologizing and stated that they would cover the vet bill. Jax ended up with 6 stitchesWe were informed that it was not his fault. And the breed that bite him was a new pitbullso much for Camp Bow Wow

Oh my, poor Jax. Hope it doesn't affect his sight or demeanor.

Poor Jax, it could have been so much worse. I hope he doesn't develop issues with other dogs now because of this. What was Camp Bow Wow thinking? Even Pet Smart doesn't allow Pit Bulls in their doggie day care because they had so many aggressive problems with Pits and other dogs.

Both of my females have been attacked by Pit Bulls, one of them twice.

I hope he heals well. I would be furious. Why are they letting dogs they know nothing about loose together? And yeah, that owner is 100% responsible for the vet bill.

I've known a few Pits and they've all been complete sweeties so its sad that this happened. Id say the camp should be responsible rather than the owner for letting at least 2 dogs that don't know each other run around together.
I hope Jax feels better soon!!

This is how people find out their "sweeties" aren't so sweet. Some dogs a temperament test does not work. It just happens and professional boarding kennels should know this. Good thing there wasn't more damage.

I would post this incident to their onsite ratings to warn others.

Poor Jax! I also hope he doesn't develop issues with other dogs.
I find it very strange for the place to test out new dogs together, now they've lost two clients instead of just one.
