What Unusual Commands does Your Pup Know?

There are many commands that our dogs learn, the basics such as sit, laydown, stay etc. I was thinking about the little ones that they pick up on in their daily lives with us that are unique.

Here's a few that I've apparently taught Summer that "just happened" - not a concentrated effort. What commands have you taught your pup that help with your daily routines that are fun or really help out around the homestead? Looking for some new ideas. Thanks

"Out of the kitchen" - when I'm cooking or taking something hot out of the oven.
"Back Up" - this one comes in handy when she's exploring in tight spots or around unstable things that could fall on her.
"Take the ball outside" when she is bugging me relentlessly to play ball and I'm busy.
"Scoot over" - bed hog no more
"Go around" - when she's trying to retrieve something and there's an easier way to get to it.
"Birdies" - she looks up to the sky - loves to watch birds fly
"Hockey" a ball game we roll it (she pushes it back with her nose) and make goals with our feet. Good indoor winter game. Simple but they love it.

"Lay your head down" is the first one that comes to mind.

"Get out of the kitchen", yes! We have a VERY TINY galley kitchen, so we say it a lot, lol. Luckily, they are good at listening, and immediately back out.

"Let me help you".They will stand still while being relieved of a handful of burrs or a thorny branch stuck in their fur.Or to examine the occasional cut or scrape.Once the two big dogs managed to get their licence tags hooked together while playing."Easy guys!Let me help!"They stood still and looked at me and I ran over and removed their collars. And yeah,no more tags on the collars.

Move it! ~ scoot fast away from incoming feet

Go on ~ it's ok to proceed

Wait your turn ~ back away until signaled

These are really not unusually, but definitely helpful:

"Left / Right" as Molly likes to walk ahead of us
"Go Around" is a good one to learn
"Bed" - rather than get out of the kitchen, or a place for her to go if people come over
"Check" as in check a place/location out, make sure it is safe
"German Shepherd" means we see another GSD and Molly will look for one and bark when she sees it. Kind of a game we play in the car.
"In" when we are in the car with her head out the window, it means to get away from the window so I can roll it up.
"Say hello" it is OK to meet and greet a human.
"Show me"

"Leave the cat alone". #1

"Lay over" - roll to your side (used for clipping nails or checking out his under side.

"Around" circle around behind me and come up on my left side (use it when outside a lot when throwing balls and Frisbee).

"Wait" hold up where you are and then I'll call you.

"Help me up" he rushes to lean against my legs so I can put an arm around his neck (don't put pressure down on him .. it's just something I've taught him).

"Inside voice" he'll bark a silent bark.

He knows a lot more (I swear he could talk in complete sentences if his mouth was shaped differently), but I can't recall them at the moment.

DON'T LICK THE DRIVER! (This one started as a joke before we got her into a harness in the car. Sadly she actually knows it.)

Turn left/turn right (On a walk, she knows we are going to turn and which way if I tell her.)

Gryffon knows a lot of the ones mentioned above, but he also knows "step out", which I use when he walks over his leash and it is hanging between his legs/under his belly. He'll back up and step over his leash getting himself un-tangled.

"Down and over for skin check" for me to examine his underbelly where he often gets sores
"No ball in here!" For rooms with hardwood, where he scratches the floors if he scrambles after his ball. He knows, and drops the ball before entering, but sometimes tries to sneak it in
"Time to scoop the yard !" This one he taught himself-- apparently he "helps" by making a poo every time I go out to scoop-- no matter if he has already pooped for the day.
"Time for blowout" he heads right over to the high velocity blower
"Kitty not interested in you!" He knows he needs to leave the cat alone

And many more
Love these dogs!
