Bloating...

Wrangler has been bloating often lately. We have him eating out of a slow feed bowl which slows him down tremendously but can't figure out what to do about drinking water to fast. We are taking him to the vet soon. But what will they do to stop the bloating?

You need to figure out why he is bloating. For now, give him Simethicone with each meal.

My girl bloats every day. It's sucks and it's scary. And I had to tack her and do a stomach biopsy to find out the cause. Helicobacter overgrowth. Did every treatment suggested. She used to bloat multiple times a day, now it's once a day.

I made my guys a raised water dish holder.
You can find really nice ones on etsy and Amazon and sites like that.
I have found that it has helped with BobBloating...-imageuploadedbypg-free1443178576.112709.jpg

Cover your kibble completely with water and soak overnight, in the fridge to completely soften it. After measuring out for morning feeding, you can even add a little more water. Put remaining portion or any that is left over in fridge until next feeding.

I know it doesn't usually make a difference of what brand of kibble is used for dogs with this problem, but what exactly are you feeding?

Right now I'm feeding him Purina Puppy Chow, but we are switching to Purina One large breed puppy formula in a few.

No wonder he is bloating! VERY VERY poor quality ingredients in Purina products!

Try switching to Acana or Fromm's.

See Purina pictures:

We have 8 other dogs and not one of the bloats. Now I have him on. Slow feeder he doesn't bloat from the food it's from the water now. I could hold his tummy and feel all that water in their just swishing around.
