Anyone ever heard of a "BarkBox"?

Found this on Facebook, in my opinion kind of seems like a "Beer of the Month Club" or something similar, except for dogs.... neat idea. (Not advertising the product or trying to break any rules, just trying to share something, so if i'm out of line please let me know)

Never heard of it. I am suspicious of Facebook stuff. Maybe it is because they make a billion bucks and then pay no taxes and actually get millions in refund. And I took a bath on their stupid stock.

Here's the website: https://barkbox.com/

The facebook link had pretty much no information, I had to go to their main site just to figure out what it was about. I thought it was a new kind of bark collar at first heh.

"When you sign up for BarkBox, every month you will receive a box in the mail with four or more carefully selected products and presents for your dog – anything from toys, bones and all-natural treats to hygiene products and innovative new gadgets!"

Neat idea, but I'd rather pick out my own stuff and buy it when I feel like it.

I had a barkbox subscription for 3 months when I lived in NYC. It was cute. Got it as a gift. I got an email blast from fab.com offering a subscription for it. I would get it for a friend but not necessarily for myself. Ive seen them offered through other lifestyle websites/email blasts like dailycandy.com, luxist.com, etc.

I've heard of it. my friend Nikki got it for her dog and it's pretty awesome. I used her referral link and got $5.00 off my first subscription.
The way it works is you pay $29 a month (which it automatically renews and bills you every month, I think on the 3rd, but you can cancel anytime easily by just clicking the cancel button), and every month it sends out a box full of toys, treats, sometimes coupons and gift cards. It's kind of neat. My dog gets bored easily of toys, so having a fresh monthly supply for less than I'd get at a pet store is nice. but if you want it for cheaper they have other packages, as little as $18 a month for 6 months, the only reason I didn't do that is because you have to pay those all up front. I wanted to try it out first and see how it was before doing a 3 or 6 month commitment. But so far i'm delighted by it, and so is the pup. OH another bonus is you can pick a package for the appropriate sized dog. So for us shepherd lovers, we'd obviously pick the large toys so that it's appropriate for their size.
If anyone wants to try it and get a discount on their first box, you can use my link here and get $5 off. $5 off link
If anyone tries it, let me know if you like it too

I get the Spoiled Rotten Box from Petflow.com each month. It's $24.99. There's an array of natural, healthy treats, chews and a toy (this month there was a Kyoji Invincibles Gecko squeaker-toy in the box, which was a huge hit).

There have been a few products in the boxes I liked a lot but would have never thought to buy.

BTW: if you google the name of these any of monthly box products and "review," you'll find lots of YouTube videos of people unpacking them and reviewing the products. It's helpful to get an idea of what to expect.
