One of these days. . .

. . . I'm going to say in a thread, "You know, dogs getting abducted and anal-probed by aliens just isn't all that common. It's really not something most people need to worry about."

And I guarantee (who wants to bet?) I'll get at least five people on this forum who will argue with me and say that they personally, or their friends, have owned numerous dogs that have been abducted and anal-probed by aliens and I shouldn't be so judgmental because it's quite common in certain places.

Suppose that the breed description should be updated some to cover this possibility?

"GSDs are to remain calm and compliant with a touch of aloofness whilst being probed by extraterrestrials. Show stack preferred during probe."

Some people just can't let dogs be dogs. In human child parenting there is a term for it - a helicopter parent. I think the vast majority of the people (owners) on this forum take it to the extreme with their dogs. But that's JMHO.

I agree Rerun. Dogs should be dogs.

Surely aliens can probe using other 'means'.
Orally?
Nasally?
Otologically?
won't go further
My dog was probed just above the tail bone, she constantly
needs to have it rubbed.
When I rub there she gets an other-worldly expression.

Jackson has definately been ubducted and probed sometime within the past week. He's gone completley bonkers. On our walk yesterday, he screamed for two blocks. Everyone was staring at us and I was so embarrased so we went home!!!!
