Cool photos of then and now sheps

I found this link showing GSD from 1899 to 2010. kind of neat to see the progression. I think it tends to just show show dogs but still neat.

I like the mid 70's-mid 80's dogs the best.

I wonder if they have photos/records like that of other breeds. It'd be interesting to see how other breeds have progressed too.

Cool glade you guys like. I personally like the dogs from the 20s sleek and athletic.

thanks for the links ! I like the dogs of the 60s and 70's . You begin to see a drift to roach backs in the 1980's getting progressively more as time goes on.

Lol.. its like as the years go by their butts are reaching closer and closer to the ground... there a gap where there weren't any dogs from the 40s (presumably due to the war and social-political situation in Germany at the time?).. very cool post thank you.. early dogs look so kelpie-like, which are one of the best herding breeds alive today. Also the date of the competition was traditionally always ont eh 1st of Jan as per the pdb website, wonder what happened in 1992 to change that.
