Thinking of rescueing a money maker dog- non Gsd

There is a 10 yr old Bichon that has been producing puppies all her life. They are actually still trying. She hasn't gotten pregnant the last two times. So now they just want to throw her off. poor girl. It makes me so mad!!!! I just want to take her from there and give her a loving home for her remaining years. Let her experience real love but still throwing the idea around. Would you???

Honestly with your other issues, no.

Your first dog is a nervous wreck so why add to that stress? And what if the Bichon reacts the same way, or worse?

Actually, when I saw the title post my first reaction was "There is no such thing as a money making dog"

There is a joke in the horse business: How do you make a small fortune in breeding horses? Start with a large one.

Doggies work the same way.

My furs are not in storage, nor draped across the bed. They're peering out the kennel door just waiting to be fed.

If that was true, we wouldn't have to worry about the Puppy Mills. If I didn't give a crap about dogs I could make 10-20k year on puppies easy. The island I live on currently has quite a few people who make a lot of extra income, producing cute mutts and weak nerved pure bred dogs with back to back litters for years.
