Moving to Irving,TX..can;t find an apartment that accepts GSDs....Need help.

Hi guys....we are moving to Irving,TX in a few weeks time and I am unable to find an apartment that accepts GSD..(pity how they misunderstand these great breed ..)Anyone living in that area have any information on GSD friendly apartments??? Please help...Urgent!

I don't know the area but I've found in general if you rent a bit outlying a town that you don't see as many restrictions, especially if you rent a small house from the owner of it.

All I can say is - good luck!

I know that some apartments will lift the breed restriction if you prove your dog isn't 'vicious.' Some will just require a CGC, but others can be a bit more difficult.

I heard of someone making a video of how well behaved their GSD was. Not just tricks and cute things, but out on the town, how friendly they are with strangers, video of them with kids, etc. Also, take a little notepad with you and ask people who meet your dog to sign it if they agree that he's friendly.
It's worth a shot.

Hi I am having the same dilemma. I am moving to Irving and desperately need to find a place for me and my 5 month old German Shepherd named Snow2. Would you happen to remember these places you found. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
