Toybox?

Panzer doesn't destroy his toys, but he does have a thing for destroying his toyboxes. I've tried plastic tubs and canvas covered storage boxes. He dumps out the toys and chews on the box. He may leave the box alone for a month, though he tore the corner open on the most recent one the first day I brought it home.

Any suggestions what type of toybox I should try next? I don't know how to teach him to leave the box alone when everything inside the box is his.

I have a wire "milk crate" that has wood weaved thruout. A plastic crate won't work for Panzer? My dogs toybox is depleted of toys, they are all out buried in the snow. I'll post a pic in a minute!

As you can see, empty at the moment...though there are toys scattered thru-out the house. They don't like the purple squirrel at all, or that kibble cube. I don't feed kibble, so it holds no value! I think I got this at Hobby Lobby

I use a trash can with a press-to-open lid. It's plastic, but it's also rounded in a way that she can't really get her jaws around it.

Mine don't destroy their toy box but they do get ALL the toys out and strew them all over the house and they never put them back up! They're worse than kids about not picking up after themselves. lol

i should get a toybox for Dodger all his toys are everywhere lol. I think metal might be your best bet in stopping them from chewing it. Maybe find a cute one at Target or Wal-Mart?

I bought a huge bone shaped one that has a top and says Dog Toys on it, ordered it from Walmart.com lol so far all these years they have never chewed on it. But just like others here, mine take all the toys out and never put them back!
whats worse? When I start putting them in the box ,the dogs are pulling them out....

Bella had a small laundry basket for a longg time and never really cared to chew it, she loves her toys too much. Yesterday I found a super cute box at Family Dollar, and its heavyduty cardboard-ish stuff, I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow. It meshes with the decor a little better then the laundry basket, LOL but I'm afraid one day she might turn on it and eat the cardboard, but she hasn't yet
