I think my dog is having people withdrawal..

DD was home all day during the summer. I came home early today and she hasn't left my side. She's actually curled around behind me in my chair while I'm working. And when she's not doing that she's on the ottoman next to me doing a stare down and roooh ahhrrrr

We've got a touch of that - Otto doesn't want James to go to school. He cries when we walk down to drop him off. Next week, I expect it to be worse when Otto's little person and her twin brother start pre-k.

Why would I ignore her? She just wants to play and she's just sleeping next to me. Am I creating problems by not ignoring her?

I don't think you should ignore her. If she's being a pest yeah ignore it. She probably doesn't remember last year when your DD went back to school so she's confused "Where is my little person?" The only thing I wouldn't do is make any big deal out of your DD getting home from school. No Wooo Hooo LOOK who's home!

Re: I think my dog is having people withdrawal..

she's not being a pest. She's funny. And she justs wants to play.

I don't know what happens when DD gets home. I assume Jax reacts the same way when I get home. DD is usually home first, followed shortly by DH, DS may or may not come home before 10 and I'm last at about 6-6:30. And DD is 5'-9"..no little ppl here anymore...I miss them!! :-)

Then play with her.

LOL, I was thinking of Otto with the little person comment. He may very well loose his mind when my 4 1/2 year old DD goes back to school next week.
