GSD Goofballs on Parade

Okay, everybody, it's time again for a scandalous expose` of our GSD's goofiest, wackiest habits! So 'fess up. Got a goof? Dish the dirt here!

I'll go first:

1. Grimm becomes wildly enthusiastic when anyone breaks wind. He franticly jabs the hapless culprit in the backside with his snout in rapidfire succession, then follows them around-- nose in the air-- with a dreamy, enraptured expression.

2. Grimm now a teenager, lifts his leg to tinkle. But: He proudly sniffs a tree on his LEFT...... then lifts his RIGHT leg to smugly pee into empty air. Duh?!

Who's next?

Re: GSD Goofballs on Parade

When playing ball Brady will only watch the ball and run into car, truck, house, chair, porch and you name it. He doesn't usually hurt himself bad hence why I call him boo boo boy.

Oh if your eating ice cream he will do everything in his power to be eating it too.

He also love ice coffee if you ever come over to my house drinking ice coffe Never put it down cause he will lap it up, he usually knocks my DH's over so he can have it all to himself

ROFL I can picture his "saves" going after a ball-- "I got it, I got it-- BONK!!" Poor Brady! Thank goodness he is built like a Panzer tank, huh? Ironic, because Brady looks so dignified and beefitudinous in his photos. Dawn, you've just got to get him playing ball in an .avi file!

Re: GSD Goofballs on Parade

LOL my FIL's goldie does the opposite- she will just run in the direction she thinks the ball is going, and waits for it to fall in front of her. if you didn't throw it far enough and it falls behind her, forget it, she'll never find it.

(btw, Grimm's peeing into the air had me CRACKING UP!!)

Riley has taken to red wine. I constantly have to tell my friends to watch their glass because she will inevitably find it! There has been many spilled glasses on my throw rug- a new carpet deep-cleaner was my black friday purchase!

1. one of mine (I forgot who) once stole my sandwich..I pulled off a small piece & offered it to him/her and instead of taking the piece they snatched the whole sandwich. I was left with the piece to eat.

2. Ghost likes to have her tummy rubbed but kicks you with her back paws while you do it. (I tell her she needs to tell her back end that it's ok)

3. Jack still tries to "hump" the females (he's fixed) especially when they go & drink water--I hear someone sneeze or gurgle & then I have to tell Jack to stop trying to drown (insert name).

I can see him running head first into a tree too! Then shaking it off like did anyone see me? Do I still have a shred of dignity?

Re: GSD Goofballs on Parade

These are great stories!

Elmo wants me to get his tennis ball out from under the bed....even when it's not there. He thinks tennis balls magically appear from under the bed.

Re: GSD Goofballs on Parade

Morgan has way more dignity than she needs. If she gets caught scratching her stomach with her back leg - while she's standing up - she gets this look like a teenager caught picking their nose! It's about the only thing she does that doofy, sorry.

Otto is 100% east german shepherd puppy, it's all doofocity, all the time with him. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
