Is royal canin a gud food for puppy ??

I need some help on what to feed a puppy (2 month old ) , Im feeding him royal canin maxi starter now . Is that good for him or should i switch him on something else . I was thinking about switching to farmina . Any other good food you guys think i should get . Please gimme some options or what should i look for in his food.

And can i give him some boiled chicken to eat (boneless) sometimes ?

Royal Canin is pretty craptacular. Lots of filler.

Farmina is pretty good. There are lots of good ones out there. Try checking out dogfoodadvisor.com for reviews to help narrow down options in your budget.

Yes. The boiled chicken is fine to feed. I usually encourage people who feed kibble to add in some real food mixers for the nutrients and health benefits.

Is that what the breeder fed? How long have you had the puppy? I'm guessing you just got the puppy so I wouldn't change the food for 2 weeks until your puppy gets acclimated to its new home. Farmina looks like good kibble. Wish I could find it somewhere around here. fwiw I fed RC Maxi puppy until 8 months old and my pup grew fine, is very healthy and strong. I usually substitute home cooked for 1 cup kibble/day. Boiled chicken and white rice are easy for puppies to digest and good to feed if they get tummy bugs.

The Royal Canine Maxi has worked well for me. Their ingredients are not accepted by forum "experts" but the dogs seem to like it. They have been developing their products for many years based on scientific research on German shepherds. I have had no issues when using their Maxi products.

Get this food
https://www.chewy.com/fromm-gold-hol...FYokhgodASQHMQ

It's holistic, made in the USA, family owned, and actually made in their own facilities. Not out-sourced like 90% of the dog food out there which all comes from the same place.

Raw chicken to a young puppy? I'd boil it per my vet.
