Puppy probiotic?

Is it OK to give a puppy? I started giving Kenya and Coke yogurt again. I use "all natural" plain flavor. Kenya and Coke really like it, they get almost 1/4 cup, mixed in with their big meal (is that too much?). How much can Nikon get?

Re: Puppy probiotic?

Based on his breeder's advice, I gave Lancer a tablespoon per meal (2x/day) of the plain yogurt right from the start.

Re: Puppy probiotic?

I usually let Juli lick the top foil off my daily yogurt intake, probably about a teaspoon or so unless I let her lick the "empty" container.

Re: Puppy probiotic?

i was giving my pup a tablespoon, as per my breeder, until i realized it was upsetting her tummy.

just yesterday i started her on the power kind. hoping it works out.

but as for the amount of yogurt i dont think it really matters, theres not really enough bacteria in a tablespoon vs a 1/4 cup to have an negative effect. i think its mostly if the dog can handle the yogurt. and from what ive been reading most can.
