Cal Natural Puppy kibble?

Have any of you used California Natural puppy kibble, either lamb & rice or chicken & rice? I know that Cal Natural is supposed to be one of the simpler kibbles (fewer ingredients) out there. I'm wondering if anyone has used it and what the experience has been - any easier on stomachs than other kibbles / normal vs soft stool? I'm especially interested in Cal natural for fewer ingredients because it's also the only one or one of only a few that has a more normal protein amount in the lamb & rice version (26%).

I use California Natural lamb/rice, I have fed it for 21/2 years now. She has great stools, on CN and I use the puppy formula for the higher protein, she will not eat the adult formula I think it's to bland for her

That's great to hear! I just started using the puppy lamb formula...for the same reasons. My dog definitely doesn't need low protein. So far it's going very well...but I haven't fully transitioned yet. I'm hoping that his stool will be totally normal with this food....it's as simple as you can get I think, so we'll hope for the best
